Build an Automated Order System with n8n & Telegram (No Code)

A free n8n workflow that turns a Telegram bot into an order taker. Customers chat with the bot, see the live menu from Google Sheets, pick their items and share their details. Once they confirm, the order is saved to the sheet, emailed to you and confirmed in the chat with an order ID. No code and no Google Apps Script, so orders stop being copied out of chat by hand.

What it does

A Telegram Trigger passes every message to an n8n AI Agent running on an OpenAI chat model. A memory keyed to each chat keeps the conversation, so the bot remembers what the customer already said. The agent reads the Menu tab through a Google Sheets tool and lists only items marked available. It accepts only items that are on the menu, asks for name, phone and delivery address, works out the total from the sheet prices and shows a short summary to confirm.

When the customer replies yes, the agent appends a row to the Orders tab with an order ID, date, chat ID, customer details, items, total and status, sends you a Gmail alert and replies inside Telegram. Change a price or set an item to unavailable in the sheet and the bot follows it on the next message, with no change in n8n.
