How I Built NFC Attendance System with Claude AI | PHP MySQL + NFC Tags + Full Source Code

A complete NFC attendance system in PHP and MySQL. Staff tap an NFC sticker on a door with their Android phone, and the visit is saved with the server time and a comment as proof that they were really there. No biometric machine, Arduino or extra hardware is needed: just low-cost NFC stickers and the phones your team already carries.

What it does

Each sticker belongs to a location such as a washroom, corridor, entrance, office or store room. One tap records one visit. The first visit of the day checks the employee in and the last one becomes the check-out, so attendance fills itself in. The dashboard shows who is on duty right now, today's visits and open complaints, and every location opens into a 360-degree view of its visitors, stickers, complaints and timeline.

The built-in NFC Writer registers a sticker, writes a secure token to it and can lock it permanently so nobody can rewrite it. Every tap, accepted or rejected, lands in the scan log. Employees file complaints by location, category and priority, and each complaint is emailed to the helpdesk addresses you set, over your own SMTP. Attendance, visit and complaint reports filter by date and export to CSV, PDF or print.
