I Built a School ERP in Google Sheets with Claude Code

A school ERP focused on the money side of running a school — fees in, salaries out, and the school shop in between — built on Google Sheets with Claude Code. Student and teacher records sit alongside fee collection, payroll, income and expense, and a point of sale for uniforms and textbooks.

What it does

Registering a student fills a form on the left while the profile builds live on the right, so you can see the record taking shape as you type. From the student list you can open their fee history, print a fee receipt, or print a challan for the next payment. Teachers work the same way: create the record, see the profile build, then open their salary history and print a payslip for any month. A parent with two or three children can settle all of their fees in one go rather than one child at a time.

The school shop

Schools sell things — textbooks, pencil boxes, bags, uniforms — and this includes the inventory and point of sale for it. Add items, sell them against a named student, and choose whether they paid now or on credit to pay later. Returns restock automatically, sales deduct automatically, and stock transactions record purchases in and sales out against your vendors.
