Free WhatsApp Message Sender from Google Sheets – No API

FREE033 turns a Google Sheet of contacts into a one-click WhatsApp desk. Your rows already hold the name, the class or category, the area, the mobile number and what they owe. This script adds a menu to the spreadsheet, and from there you pick a person and WhatsApp opens with the message already written for them.

The message writes itself

Nothing is typed twice. The person's name, their class, their area and the outstanding amount are read from their row and placed into the message, so a fee reminder to thirty parents is thirty clicks instead of thirty rewrites. The wording can be produced in the language your contacts actually read, which matters more than any feature on this page when the person receiving it is a parent rather than an office.

Filter first, then send

Rather than scrolling a long sheet, you narrow down — choose the class, then the person — and the row's details come up before anything is sent. From there you send the WhatsApp message, or place a call straight to that number if you are working from a phone.

No API, no subscription

This uses WhatsApp's own click-to-chat behaviour, so there is no Business API to apply for, no monthly service in between and no third party holding your contact list. WhatsApp opens with the text prepared and you press send, which also means you see every message before it goes out.

Setting it up

Copy the sheet, open Apps Script from the Extensions menu, and paste your spreadsheet ID into the one marked spot. The menu is labelled WhatsApp by default and that label is a line of code, so it can carry your own wording. Your columns stay as they are.
