Church Management System – Google Sheets Web App with AI

A complete church management system built on Google Sheets and Google Apps Script. It brings members, visitors, attendance, giving, events, groups and sermons into one web app, so the church office stops juggling Excel files, paper registers and WhatsApp groups. Google Sheets is the database, and the app runs from your own Google account on desktop and phone.

What it does

The member register keeps families, contact details, membership dates and photos, and every member opens in a 360 view with their giving, groups and family. Visitors get a status, a follow-up date and a person assigned to contact them. Attendance is recorded per service with the headcount and first-timers.

Gifts are recorded as tithe, offering or giving with a receipt number. You can print a receipt for one gift or a giving statement for a member, and the finance report shows monthly giving and the totals by type.

Ministry runs on an events calendar, announcements that can be emailed to every active member, groups with leaders and join requests, a worship roster with songs and vocalists, a sermon archive, live stream links and prayer requests. The form builder makes sign-up and survey forms, and a form can be shared as a public link that guests fill in without an account. Members and staff message each other inside the app, and birthday and anniversary wishes go out by email.

AI assistant

Add your own Anthropic API key and church leaders can ask questions about members, attendance, giving and events in plain English, draft announcements, events and messages, and read a short daily insight on the dashboard. The assistant only sees what the person asking is allowed to see, and each person has a daily limit.
