Trading Journal Google Sheets: Crypto Trade Log + AI Chat (Apps Script)

This trading journal for Google Sheets is a full web app built with Google Apps Script. Your spreadsheet is the database, and the app gives you one dashboard to log, plan, grade and review every trade. It is designed for crypto and forex traders, and it also works for gold (XAUUSD), indices and prop-firm challenge accounts.

Log every trade, across every account

Add as many trading accounts as you need, each with its broker or exchange, platform label (MT4, MT5, cTrader, Binance and so on), starting balance, daily loss limit and maximum drawdown. The trade log records instrument, direction, entry and exit, stop loss, take profit, lot size, timeframe, exit reason and the setup grade. Each account and each trade opens a 360 view with cash flows, performance, discipline, psychology, screenshots and similar past trades.

Plan the day, then follow your rules

The calendar shows every trading day, and clicking a date opens that day's trades and plan. The daily planner covers overall bias, conviction, higher-timeframe view, sessions (Asia, London, New York AM and PM), key levels, invalidation and a pre-trade checklist. You can copy the previous plan and review your plan history. You set your own rules, such as a daily loss limit, and a trade that breaks one is flagged as a rule breach.

Grade setups and learn from the numbers

The setup grader scores a trade idea before you take it and can log it straight to the journal. You keep your models in a strategy playbook. Setup analytics then shows a leaderboard, score against result, monthly profit and loss, and a breakdown of timing, psychology and mistakes. The weekly review asks for your biggest mistake, best decision and key lesson. A backtest lab tracks test results with an equity curve and a statistical summary.

AI chat that reads your journal

The AI assistant answers questions from your own sheet data, including trades, accounts, sessions and setups. It can also search the web when you switch that on. It works with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or Grok, using your own API key. Models are fetched from the key automatically.

You also get user management, dynamic roles with per-page permissions, editable dropdown lists, instrument and pip-size setup, CSV import with templates, dark theme and custom colors, and an About page that lists every formula. The layout works on mobile. Trades are entered by hand or imported from CSV. The app does not connect to a broker.
