Membership Portal with OTP Login & IP Lock – Apps Script

A members-only portal for delivering digital products — templates, source code, courses, any file you sell access to rather than sell outright. It runs on Google Sheets, and it takes account sharing seriously, which is the problem every membership site eventually has.

Three locks, not one

A password alone is not the gate. Every login emails a one-time code that has to be entered before the portal opens. Each account is tied to an IP address, so the same credentials used on a second device are refused with a plain message that the account is already signed in elsewhere — and the genuine owner clears it themselves by verifying an OTP to update their IP. Every member also carries an expiry date; once it passes, the login is refused until you extend it.

Download limits that actually hold

Each member has an allowed number of downloads per day. The dashboard shows how many are used and how many remain, and at the limit the download is denied with a prompt to upgrade. You raise or lower that allowance per member in the sheet.

Your catalog, your categories

The product list is driven by your spreadsheet's own tabs, so a new category is a new sheet. Members filter by category and subcategory or search, and every product can carry a live-view link. Two logs run behind it all: login history with date, IP and whether OTP or a reset was used, and download history showing which member took which file and when.
