Automate Your Logistics: Google Sheets Management System

A complete logistics management system built in Google Sheets with Google Apps Script. It runs as a web app on top of your own spreadsheet, so a freight forwarder, cargo agent or transport company gets shipment operations, sales paperwork and full accounting in one place — with no server, no hosting bill and no database to maintain.

Shipment operations

Book a shipment with job number, customer, salesperson, shipper and consignee, direction, mode (sea, air or road), container size and number, gross weight, volume, packages, origin and destination ports and countries, carrier, Incoterms such as FOB, Ex Works and FCA, plus ETD and ETA. Every shipment opens into a 360° view showing its attached documents, customer invoices, vendor invoices, profitability and timeline. Upload the BL, AWB, packing list or delivery order straight onto the job, and set salesperson commission on net profit or revenue as a draft before posting it to the ledger.

Sales and purchase paperwork

Create quotations with multiple charge lines, print or download them as PDF, email them to the customer, accept them and convert them into an invoice in one click. Sales invoices carry tax or GST, discounts and currency; credit notes adjust against an existing invoice. On the buy side you get vendor invoices, debit notes and direct vendor payments.

Accounting, banking and collections

Post vouchers to the ledger, maintain a chart of accounts and charge types, add bank accounts, run the cheque register (clear or bounce a cheque) and reconcile a bank statement by date and closing balance. Receivables show invoice-wise outstanding balances with receipt posting, aging, allocation and printable customer statements; payables mirror the same for vendors. Customers and vendors each have a full ledger you can open from the list.

Roles, settings and reports

Two roles ship by default — administrator and salesperson — and the permission matrix under Settings lets you switch any screen on or off per role. Settings also cover company details, financial year, currencies and exchange rates, document numbering, backup and data tools, plus an appearance section that recolours the whole UI to your brand. Reports cover accounting, sales, shipments, vendor invoices and tax for any date range.
