Free PHP CRUD Dashboard with Google Sheets as Database

A complete PHP admin dashboard that uses Google Sheets as its database. Login, registration, employee records and full CRUD — with no MySQL anywhere. The PHP front end talks to an Apps Script web app, and the Apps Script reads and writes the sheet.

Why do it this way

Plenty of internal tools do not justify a database. A shared host, a spreadsheet the team already understands, and no DB credentials to manage covers a surprising amount of ground — and the data stays readable and exportable by anyone with the sheet open. It suits lightweight admin tools, internal dashboards and prototype CRMs where MySQL is more setup than the job deserves.

Setup that tells you when it is wrong

The whole connection is a single line in config.php — the Apps Script web app URL. There is a built-in test-connection check so you find out the bridge is working before you build on top of it, and a one-click run setup that creates the Users and Employees sheets with the right headers rather than leaving you to lay them out by hand.

Deployment

Upload the PHP files to any host that runs PHP, deploy the Apps Script as a web app, paste the URL into config.php, run setup. The video demonstrates the full path including the hosting upload, and support is free if you get stuck.
