E-commerce Logistics System – Google Sheets Apps Script

A full order-to-delivery logistics dashboard running on Google Sheets. Three departments log into the same app, each sees only their own job, and every status change is written back to the sheet with a timestamp and the name of whoever made it.

Three roles, one system

• E-commerce — creates orders, filters products by category, attaches a shipping label and watches their own orders move
• Logistics — marks orders Packed, Picked Up and Delivered, records the rider's name, and handles returns on faulty goods
• Admin — sees everything: every order, every product, the activity log and the full status history

Order pipeline with a paper trail

An order moves Created → Packed → Picked Up → Delivered, and each step can carry a note such as "Packed from warehouse" or the rider assigned to it. Open any order and you get its complete status history — what it was, what it became, who changed it and when. Returns are handled as their own state, so a faulty product does not have to be faked as a delivery.

Dashboard that keeps itself current

The top of the dashboard carries live counts of total orders, total products, orders created, orders delivered and low-stock items, with a recent activity feed and a recent orders panel underneath. It refreshes itself every 30 seconds, and there is a toggle to turn that off plus a manual refresh button when you want control of the timing.

Products and files

Add products with SKU, name, category and opening stock, and create a new category inline if the one you need does not exist yet. Products filter by name, category or stock level. Shipping labels uploaded against an order are saved into a dedicated Google Drive folder and can be reopened from the order row.

Setup

No server and no database to configure — Google Sheets holds the data, Apps Script runs the app. Every role can change its own password, and the activity log records each action for audit. The video walks through all three logins end to end, and support is free if you get stuck.
