Free Inventory Management System with QR POS – Google Sheets

An inventory system where the phone in your hand is the scanner and the till. Register a product, the system prints it a QR code; point a camera at that code and the sale is already half done. No barcode gun, no POS terminal, no server — the whole thing runs on one Google Sheet.

Scan, then sell

Every product gets a QR code generated automatically the moment it is registered. At the counter you either open the camera and scan the code off the product, or upload a photo of it if the camera is awkward — both land you on the same screen with the product, its price and its remaining stock already filled in. Enter the quantity and process the sale. Stock drops in the same moment.

Stock that stays honest

Every sale writes back to the sheet, so the quantity you see is the quantity you have, and the dashboard flags anything that has fallen to a low-stock level before you find out from an empty shelf. Products can be edited, deleted, or have their stock adjusted by hand when a delivery arrives. And for the day somebody types a number wrong, there is a Recount Stock from Sales button that rebuilds the current quantity from the sales history instead of leaving you to guess.

Receipts and the day's numbers

Each sale can print a thermal receipt, sized for the small roll printers used at real counters. The dashboard sits on top of all of it: total products, total revenue, number of sales, and the low-stock list. The currency symbol is yours to set, so the same build works whatever you price in.

Deploying it

It publishes as a Google Apps Script web app, which means it opens on a phone at the counter, a tablet in the stockroom, and a laptop in the office from the same link.
