Free Branded Payslip Generator with OTP – Google Apps Script

A payslip generator with a lock on it. Employees fetch their own salary slip, but only after a one-time code has been emailed to them and verified — so a payslip is not something a colleague can pull up by typing the wrong employee number.

Why the OTP matters here

Salary is the most sensitive data a small business holds. Most payslip tools built on Sheets identify the employee by a number in a box, which means anyone who guesses a number sees a salary. Here the request triggers a code to that employee's registered email, and nothing is shown until the code comes back. It is a small step that changes what the system is safe to hand out.

Making the slips

Salary data lives in Google Sheets with multi-sheet support, so months or departments can be kept in separate sheets instead of one enormous tab. The payslip carries your own company branding — name, logo and details — and your currency, set in the settings screen rather than edited in the code. Slips print directly or export as PDF.

Day to day

Settings management keeps the company details, currency and configuration in one place. The layout is responsive, so an employee opens their slip on a phone and it is readable without pinching. And because the data stays in your sheet, payroll corrections are made where you already work.
