Free Payslip System with Bulk Email – Google Apps Script

Payroll month ends with the same job every time: produce a payslip for every employee and get it to them. This does both — generates the slips from your sheet and emails the whole set in one action, with a portal where staff fetch their own copies afterwards.

Generating and sending

Payslips are generated automatically from the employee and salary data in the sheet, then emailed — individually, or in bulk to everyone at once. A duplicate-prevention check stops the same month's slip being issued twice to the same employee, which is the mistake that causes the awkward conversation later.

The employee side

Staff log into a self-service portal and see their own payslips — nobody else's — with PDF download and print. That removes the steady trickle of "can you resend my March slip" messages, which is usually the real reason this gets built.

The admin side

An admin dashboard with analytics over the payroll, full employee CRUD, user management, and monthly payroll reports. Activity logs record who generated and sent what, so there is a trail behind every slip that went out.

What it runs on

Google Sheets is the database, so salary data stays in a sheet your accountant can already read, and the app deploys as a web app that works on a phone. Two roles — admin and employee — decide who sees the payroll and who sees only their own slips.
