Subscription Tracker with Renewal Reminders – Apps Script

Every business leaks money on subscriptions nobody remembers signing up for. This subscription management dashboard puts all of them in one place — what renews when, what it costs, and what is about to expire — running entirely on Google Sheets with a Bootstrap 5 interface.

See what is expiring before it bills you

Each subscription carries a renewal date, and the dashboard turns that into a colour-coded status badge: active, expiring soon, or expired. Nothing needs to be checked manually — the list sorts itself so the urgent ones surface first. On top of that, automatic email reminders go out before a renewal lands, so a cancellation decision gets made while there is still time to make it.

Built for more than one person

Login is role-based. Admins see and edit every subscription; regular users see their own. Because the backend is a Google Sheet, several people can be working in the app at once without stepping on each other or paying per seat.

Money in the currency you actually think in

Subscriptions rarely bill in one currency. Conversion rates live in the settings page where you can edit them yourself, so a dollar-billed SaaS tool and a locally-billed service both roll up into one comparable total. The dashboard charts spend and subscription counts so you can see where the money is going rather than just listing rows.

Setup

Copy the sheet, deploy the script, log in. It runs entirely inside Google Workspace with no third-party service and nothing to host. The video walks through the whole build, and support is free if you get stuck.
