FREE005 turns the addresses already sitting in your spreadsheet into something you can actually see. Pick a customer from the list and their location comes up on a map. Pick another and the map moves. That is the whole tool, and it is useful precisely because it is that small.

What it is, and what it is not

Worth being clear before you buy: this plots an address you already hold, not a live GPS feed. Nobody installs anything, nothing runs on a customer's phone and no one is followed in real time. It reads the address from your sheet and shows you where that is — which is what you actually want when planning a delivery route or working out whether two orders are on the same street.

The data is already there

Any order form you run collects an address. Those addresses usually sit in a column that nobody looks at, because reading an address tells you far less than seeing it. Point this at that column and the column starts earning its keep.

Fitting it to your sheet

The customer list and the locations come from your own spreadsheet, so the names in the dropdown are your customers. Setup is pasting your spreadsheet ID into the code, saving and deploying. The layout uses Bootstrap, so restyling it to match the rest of your tools is straightforward.

Setting it up

Make a copy of the sheet and the code comes with it under Extensions. Replace the sheet ID, run it once, create a new deployment set to anyone, and the link it returns is the tool.
