ISP Billing Software PHP MySQL – Double-Entry Ledger

A complete ISP billing and management system in PHP and MySQL, built for providers who bill monthly, collect in the field and need the books to balance. It covers the whole chain — lead, customer, connection, package, invoice, payment, ledger — plus the counter POS for routers and cables and the collection round your staff run door to door.

What it does

Customers are registered with everything an ISP actually needs: CNIC, GPS location, area, package, installation and due date, IP and MAC address, connection type (PPPoE, static or DHCP) and medium (fibre, wireless, ethernet or DSL). Once a month you generate every bill in one pass, with a preview-and-confirm step before anything is written. Payments are recorded against a receiving bank account and allocated to outstanding invoices, and every movement posts to a proper double-entry ledger — party ledger, day book, cash and bank book, with manual journal entries where you need them. The aging report then tells you who owes what, filtered by area, package, collector or status.

Built with an AI assistant — reviewed by hand

This was written with Claude (Fable 5.1) used as a coding assistant, not as a replacement for one. The architecture, database design and role/permission model were designed first, then the generated code was read, corrected and hardened by hand.
