Free Appointment Management Dashboard – Google Apps Script

The other half of an appointment form: the screen the clinic, salon or office actually works from. Bookings arrive from the public form, and this is where they are counted, filtered, updated and closed.

The numbers first

The dashboard opens on four counts — total appointments, completed, pending and cancelled — with the newest booking at the top. Change an appointment's status and the counts move with it, so "how many are still waiting" is answered by looking rather than by counting rows in a spreadsheet.

Working the list

Filter to pending and you have today's job. Filter to completed or cancelled when you need the history. Status is updated from the row itself, which is the action performed dozens of times a day and therefore the one that has to be one click.

Booking on someone's behalf

Not every appointment comes through the website. Add Appointment lets staff enter one directly — a walk-in, a phone call, a regular customer — with the same name, phone, email, notes, date and time. Bookings can also be deleted, with a confirmation first.

Who gets in

Access comes from a login sheet holding each person's email, password and access type — admin, user or manager — plus a switch to allow or disallow that account. Turn access off and the login is refused without the account being deleted, which is what you want when someone leaves.
