Free Queue Management System – Google Sheets Apps Script

A token and queue management system built on Google Sheets. A customer arrives and takes a token, the counter calls the next one, and a live display shows who is being served. It replaces the shouted name and the cluster of people around a desk with an order everyone can see.

What it does

Tokens are generated as people arrive and the queue is managed from a dashboard, with controls to serve the next token and handle the ones that need recalling. The live serving display updates in real time, alongside a clock and date, so it can be put on a screen in the waiting area. Serving time is tracked per token, which turns the queue into data: the performance dashboard shows how many were served and how long each took, so staffing decisions are based on numbers rather than impressions.
