B45 is a records app for work that gets approved rather than thrown away. Applications, requests, submissions — things that arrive as pending, get looked at, and end up approved or declined. The one decision that shapes the whole file: there is no delete button anywhere, on purpose. Records are viewed, corrected and moved along, never removed.

View before you touch anything

Every row carries a view icon and an edit icon. View opens that record as a read-only card, which is what someone checking a submission actually needs — the whole entry laid out, with nothing editable to nudge by accident. Edit is the separate, deliberate action.

Editing and the status move

Editing loads the record into a form where the status can move between pending, approved and declined along with any other detail. Every field has to be filled before an update is accepted, and a confirmation step stands between the button and the write, so a stray click cannot approve something. Save and the Google Sheet updates immediately — the table and the sheet never disagree.

Finding the row you want

Status filters cut the list to approved, declined, pending or all, a search box runs across the table, and the rows-per-page selector goes from five up to a hundred with the entry count shown. On a list of a few hundred submissions that is usually enough to land on the right record in two clicks.

The bill link

If a row holds a bill or document URL, the view screen opens it. If that cell is empty the app says no bill found rather than opening a broken link, which matters when the person checking is not the person who entered the record.

Adding a record

The add form takes ID, name, gender, email, phone and organisation, and sets the status to pending automatically, so a new entry always starts at the beginning of the queue.
