Free Customer & Vendor Ledger – Google Apps Script

B47 keeps both sides of the book in one place. Customers who owe you and vendors you owe sit in the same web app, each with their own transaction history and their own running balance, and a single screen that lists every balance at once when you want the whole picture rather than one party.

Bills up, payments down

Adding an entry takes a date, a type, an amount and a particular — your own description of what it was for. A bill is a credit and pushes the balance up; a payment is a debit and brings it down. The maths is done for you: a balance of 3,300 with an 1,800 payment against it shows 1,500 the next time you open that party, so nobody is recalculating in their head at the counter.

The show all screen

This is what the earlier customer-only ledger could not do. One click lists every vendor with their current balance side by side, which is the view you actually want before a collection round or a payment run. It prints, so the list can be carried rather than screenshotted.

Finding the right party

Pick from the dropdown or search by name. Selecting a party loads only their transactions, and a newly added one says plainly that no transactions were found rather than showing an empty table that might be somebody else's. Adding a vendor takes a name and a phone number, and they are in the database immediately.

Setting it up

Copy the sheet, open Apps Script from Extensions — the code is already there — and deploy as a web app. Authorise it once and the link is ready. A party's transaction list prints as well as the balances screen.
