The certificate design is set up inside Sheets, so changing the wording, the course title or the signatory is an edit in a cell rather than a redesign. The generator fills the student name, the program title and a unique certificate ID into that template for every row — a class, a batch, an event, a workshop, all in one run.

The unique ID matters

Every certificate carries its own ID, which is what makes it verifiable rather than decorative. Paired with the lookup screen, a student, an employer or an admissions office can check a certificate number online and see whether it is genuine — the same idea behind a result portal, applied to certificates.

Bulk is the point

Doing thirty certificates by hand in a design tool is an afternoon and at least one misspelled name. Doing three hundred is not realistic at all. Here the effort is the same whether the list has ten rows or a thousand, and the names come from the sheet, so they are spelled the way they were entered at registration.
