Member Portal with Per-User Content Access – Apps Script

A members' area where what each person sees is decided per person. Sign in, verify an emailed code, and the dashboard shows only the sections that member is entitled to — the rest are not hidden behind a message, they are simply not there.

Access decided section by section

Content is organised into sections, each backed by its own sheet. Against every member you mark which sections they may open. Allow two and block the others, and their dashboard contains exactly those two. Change it in the sheet and their next login reflects it. For anyone selling or granting access in tiers — a course, a resource library, a client portal — this is the mechanism that matters, and it is a cell rather than a permissions engine.

Two gates at the door

A password alone does not get in: a six-digit code is emailed and must be verified, with the format checked before the code is even tested. Separately, any account can be blocked in the sheet, and a blocked member is refused at login with invalid credentials regardless of a correct password. Login history is recorded, so you can see who came in and when.

Inside the dashboard

Each item carries a copy button for its content and a Watch Now link, with a live view count displayed beside it. There is an information page built from sheet rows — add a row and the point appears on the page, so your terms or benefits list is maintained without editing HTML. The profile page shows the member's username, email, mobile and country.

On a phone

The sidebar collapses and the whole dashboard is mobile friendly, which is where most members will open it.
