R23 is a certificate generator with a genuinely clever ownership model. Anyone can create a certificate through the portal, but the person creating it sets their own PIN at that moment — and from then on, only that PIN opens it for editing. Somebody else guessing at it gets a data not found message, not a preview of your record.

Two steps on purpose

Filling the form and pressing submit stores the details; it does not produce the certificate yet. To generate it you press Edit, enter your PIN, look over the details once more and submit again. The second pass is the proofread step, which is why a system like this does not end up producing certificates with a misspelt name on them.

The admin still holds the keys

Deleting is separate and protected by a master password that only the portal owner knows. Nobody can remove somebody else's certificate, and nobody can remove their own on a whim either. A wrong admin password returns the same flat data not found rather than confirming that a record exists.

Your design, not ours

The certificate itself is a Google Slides template, so the look is entirely yours — download any template you like, drop in your own crest, borders and typography, and paste that slide's ID into the code. The generated certificate comes out as a PDF and lands in the Drive folder you nominate.

Fields you control

The form captures the recipient's name, the organisation, the position or award, the event and who issued it. Some fields ship read only so a user cannot alter them — the issuer code, for instance — and the walkthrough shows how to unlock one if you would rather people set it themselves.
