FREE018 is a login with a second lock and a house behind it. Getting the password right does not get you in — it gets you a six digit code emailed to the address on that account. Only when the code checks out does the site open, and what opens is a multi-page shell waiting for your own content.

The code step

The verification screen uses six separate boxes, one digit each, which is a small thing that makes a phone-to-screen transcription noticeably less annoying. The code goes to the email registered against the account, so somebody holding a stolen password still cannot get through without the inbox.

Forgetting the password

There is a forgot flow: enter your email, confirm, and the account details come back to that address. An address that is not registered is told so rather than silently doing nothing. Worth being clear about how this behaves — it returns the existing credentials rather than putting you through a reset with a new password. What is behind the login

Three pages and a dropdown menu to move between them, all deliberately empty. They are yours: paste in HTML, add a style block, add a script block, and you have a members area rather than a login that leads nowhere.
