Free Student Profile Portal with OTP Reset – Google Sheets

A self-service profile portal for students. They sign in with their email and password and see their own record — name, registration number, academic information, personal details, addresses and academic history, with their photograph — all read live from Google Sheets.

Students update what students should update

The edit screen is deliberately narrow: contact number, permanent address and mailing address, and nothing else. Name, father's name, email, academic information and academic history stay under the institution's control, because a student moving house should not also be able to change their own grades or registration number. Saved changes write back to the sheet immediately.

Account management without the office

Students change their own password from inside the portal by entering the current one and a new one, and a Forgot Password flow emails a one-time code when the password has genuinely been lost. Neither needs a call to the administration office, which is where most of the time goes in a manual system.

Setup

Paste your sheet ID into the script and deploy the web app. The records live in your spreadsheet, so the registrar keeps editing the columns they always did while students get a clean page to read them from.
